As the Owner/President of (w)here, Suzann brings over 36 years of real estate experience and a unique depth of industry knowledge to the islands. A lifelong visitor to Hawaii since 1979, she’s created decades of joyful memories on Maui—sun-soaked days, family adventures, and a deep appreciation for the island’s rhythm and spirit. Now, alongside four incredible partners, she’s proud to launch (w)here maui takes you, a company rooted in community, experience, customer service and aloha.

Suzann is the daughter of immigrants from the islands of Croatia, where a deep love for the sea, land, and close-knit living runs strong. Island life is in her blood. Bringing that connection full circle in Maui feels like a natural extension of her story—a chance to blend her heritage and heart with her passion for real estate and helping others find their place on the beautiful island of Maui. 

With a degree in Civil Engineering and a Business minor from Santa Clara University, Suzann has the ability to assess properties through both a technical and creative lens. Her 25+ years of construction experience add another layer of value to every transaction. While born and raised in Portland, she is honored to now be part of the Maui community and excited to contribute to its vibrant spirit. She loves sports, the ocean, and the outdoors—especially running, skiing, volleyball, golf, hiking and beach time with family.
